Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medicine technique that involves the insertion of very fine, sterile needles into specific points on the body, known as acupuncture points or meridians. This practice aims to restore balance and promote the body’s natural healing processes by improving the flow of energy, or “Qi,” throughout the body. During an acupuncture treatment, needles are gently placed at targeted points based on the individual’s symptoms or health condition. The insertion is typically painless, though a mild tingling, warmth, or dull ache may be felt. A typical acupuncture session may last between 45 minutes to an hour, including consultation, treatment, and rest time. Acupuncture is commonly used to assist with pain management, stress relief, digestive health, hormonal balance, and overall wellbeing.

Myotherapy
Myotherapy is a form of manual therapy that focuses on the assessment, treatment, and management of musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction. It involves identifying the underlying causes of pain, such as muscle tightness, joint restriction, or poor posture, and applying targeted techniques to restore normal movement and function. A Myotherapy session may include a combination of soft tissue massage, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, stretching, joint mobilization, cupping, or dry needling depending on the individual’s needs. The goal is to reduce pain, improve flexibility, enhance performance, and prevent future injury.
